Chris Daughtry | Over you

No Comment // Written on Aug 31, 2008 // Entertainment, Podcasts

Now that it’s all said and done,
I can’t believe you were the one
To build me up and tear me down,
Like an old abandoned house.
What you said when you left
Just left me cold and out of breath.
I fell too far, was in way too deep.
Guess I let you get the best of me.

Well, I never saw it coming.
I should’ve started running
A long, long time ago.
And I never thought I’d doubt you,
I’m better off without you
More than you, more than you know.
I’m slowly getting closure.
I guess it’s really over.
I’m finally getting better.
And now I’m picking up the pieces.
I’m spending all of these years
Putting my heart back together.
‘Cause the day I thought I’d never get through,
I got over you.

You took a hammer to these walls,
Dragged the memories down the hall,
Packed your bags and walked away.
There was nothing I could say.
And when you slammed the front door shut,
A lot of others opened up,
So did my eyes so I could see
That you never were the best for me.

Well, I never saw it coming.
I should’ve started running
A long, long time ago.
And I never thought I’d doubt you,
I’m better off without you
More than you, more than you know.
I’m slowly getting closure.
I guess it’s really over.
I’m finally getting better.
And now I’m picking up the pieces.
I’m spending all of these years
Putting my heart back together.
‘Cause the day I thought I’d never get through,
I got over you.

Well, I never saw it coming.
I should’ve started running
A long, long time ago.
And I never thought I’d doubt you,
I’m better off without you
More than you, more than you know.

Well, I never saw it coming.
I should’ve started running
A long, long time ago.
And I never thought I’d doubt you,

More than you, more than you know.
I’m slowly getting closure.
I guess it’s really over.
I’m finally getting better.
And now I’m picking up the pieces.
I’m spending all of these years
Putting my heart back together.
Well I’m putting my heart back together,
‘Cause I got over you.
Well I got over you.
I got over you.
‘Cause the day I thought I’d never get through,
I got over you.

Print Screen | The Mac Noob

4 Comments // Written on Aug 30, 2008 // Computers, How To's

I’ve been using Intel-based Mac OS for about 2 months now, and it is somehow a great opportunity for me to have a mind wide open unto different operating systems available on the market today. Mac is really an advanced operating system first and foremost is its virus free feature plus an all new fast processing operating system.

As a mac noob, basic operations are quite different from the one that I usually use which is Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium (HP). And so today I want to share to the world what I’ve just learned from my Mac. Print Screen is a good feature of operating system since it produces images from your desktop without the use of third party software. On Windows, you only need to press the PrtSc button can be found on your laptop or PC, but basically this feature capture all corners of the screen, while on mac, there are two types and ways hot to capture a screen. The COMMAND + SHIFT + 4 prepares the cursor to be captured. Please be observed that the cursor is converted to a cross icon (+) with an X & Y number coordinates along with it. Finally, select the section or coordinates that you’d like to capture, as soon as you’ve finished selecting the coordinate double click and a sound will be played and there you go, the print screen image file is generated on your desktop.

In my case, I’m using a Microsoft keyboard on my Acer Aspire 4715z laptop, you may consider to press ALT + SHIFT + 4, it operates the same function as with the keys provided a while ago.

Let me share to you my current desktop, generated using the PrintScreen feature of Mac OS X 10.5.4,

May this short tutorial help your everyday needs, as a noob, with your Mac.

More Than A Day

4 Comments // Written on Aug 29, 2008 // Inspirational, People

There’s no such important announcement today but I just want to thank the Lord for giving me a wonderful day today and so as for guiding me always throughout the 19 years of my existence here on the planet earth. I also want to thank for the people who are always at my side during the times when I’m down and weary (char!). And lastly I’d like to share this thanksgiving poem made by my fellow blogger for everyone.

As Thanksgiving Day rolls around,
It brings up some facts, quite profound.
We may think that we’re poor,
Feel like bums, insecure,
But in truth, our riches astound.

We have friends and family we love;
We have guidance from heaven above.
We have so much more
Than they sell in a store,
We’re wealthy, when push comes to shove.

So add up your blessings, I say;
Make Thanksgiving last more than a day.
Enjoy what you’ve got;
Realize it’s a lot,
And you’ll make all your cares go away.

Purest of Pain

2 Comments // Written on Aug 22, 2008 // Entertainment, Love, Podcasts, Relationships

It seems August doesn’t like me, we just broke up with my girlfriend last week and is weakening me every now and then but yet I shouldn’t be conquered by such incidences but still life must go on and I need to refresh my mind and setting up my self again regardless of what happen. As artists thiks alike says, music is the most beautiful art of all arts. Music gives everything, the moods, expression, interpretations, and the synchronization of sounds.

And so I got here a music for everyone who had just lost their girlfriends. The song entitled Purest of Pain, talks about a man who have been broke up by his girlfriend and somehow couldn’t fight it since he’s weak and he needs that girl to strengthen up his weaknesses. So guys here it is,

May you enjoy the song and feel the essence or the message of the song, what it is being implied. :D

The Rock | xTended Re-Launched

No Comment // Written on Aug 21, 2008 // What's Up?

It was 6 months and a couple of days since The Rock | xTended existed on the internet and blogsphere and there have been a robust distribution of information between my site and the people. Everyday, this site is visited by a medium number of people generating a hundred thousand of hits a month, and yet the site is much more experiencing server lag and has a few server down time every now and then due to the cron jobs being executed every hour for maintenance and stability of its files and contents.

As of yesterday, I had already finished migrating this site from other web host to its new secured host, 3ix.org. The whole process takes about 2 days since the DNS propagation wasn’t that fast as with GoDaddy.com. And as promised, the whole service offered by this site is being turned over and is being approved for operation like the audio streaming on the Podcast section of my blog, but still some of the streaming won’t work, because I am still uploading a lot of files including the Downloads section. So just stay tuned and be updated anyway this won’t take long. Plus, as you may observed the site is loading a bit faster than before (based on my own experience), but yet it still depends upon your ISPs’ bandwidth.

There are still some issues left like posts contents are incomplete, basically I was bothered on what happen, I already had an md5 sum check of the database I got from my old host and it was all correct and why is it somethings’ wrong with the post. I couldn’t do something about it at this time but maybe sooner or later.

So guys if you feel something error to anywhere of my site or you would like to have your comments and or suggestion be heard,  please let me know by using the Contact page of this website.
