As you may know pharmacy technician assists licensed pharmacists, either in retail or mail-order pharmacies, or in hospitals. Pharmacy tech do work the same hours required work for a pharmacists. Mostly, now-a-days, hospitals have been working and available for 24 hours, so most likely, there should have been pharmacists and pharmacy tech on duty based on shifting hours.
Pharmacy technician salary depends upon the working environment. But yet, there should have been an hourly wage salary. In some other cases, like over-time working, there would be a possibility of wage and or salary increase.
