Blog Hacking
Written on Apr 09, 2008 // Blogging, My Own, Web and Internet, What's Up?.Just a few hours ago, I got the chance to browse about these issue becoming more prominent on such high rated blogs across the internet. The main issue I was talking about is the propagation of these spam comments and ping backs. If you’re unsure of it, these are the comments, ping backs, that are posted on your blogs on a certain posts that promotes their sites like viagra, karaoke, and such the like comments that are very unusual to your blog.
Basically, as what I’ve read on Massive Blog Hackery Exposed, there have been a lot of simple and advanced hacks being done by hackers. One of them is by putting up a hidden form, embedded on your current theme, placing links, redirecting Google ad-sense settings to hackers account, and or by editing some tags on header.php and footer.php. There’s also other way of hacking blog is by repacking free themes and redistribute it on the net but there have been a few codes added for exploit processing.
Moreover, BlogSecurity.net, found out that Wordpress 2.5, the newest stable version of wordpress blog software, that an issue on SQL injection found on the admin login screen however this issue haven’t yet proved or backed up to this moment.
Lastly, it has been reported that some of the hackers are Filipinos. These facts has been partially proven since they’re using obviously Tagalog words on their codes. I haven’t seen these codes personally, but yet we should consider different factors like people who knew Tagalog language but not a Filipino citizen.
Deep Jive Interests’ blog is one of the million blogs infected and hacked by such loosers.
