Blogspot.com | A Phishing Site?
Written on Feb 10, 2008 // My Own, Web and Internet, What's Up?.Recently, I was browsing blogs through my blogroll, since most links I do have or linked up from my site was from blogspot.com. Before, it was all okay and no anti-spy alert will pop-up on my desktop from my installed internet security, Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0.2.666. But a few days ago, was like 2 days ago, I experience pop-ups from my security suite, emphasizing that the page I was trying to open is a phishing site.
This is what the phishing alert looks like,
I really don’t know what happened to blogspot.com. I did conform my classmates about this incident but, they are afraid of doing so, and or their Kaspersky is blacklisted. I was also trying to contact blogspot but I wasn’t able to get their contact e-mail so I decided to place it on my blog, hoping for Blogspot can search this post and or put action to this matter.

Kumbaga, napagkamalan lang yan ng Kaspersky.. If I’m not mistaken, you can trust blogspot and allow it page load its page.. (^^,)

Feb 10, 2008, 10:41 pmprobably there is a conflict with kapersky and blogspot. try upgrading your ie to ie ver.7, i know they have an integrated anti-phishing in the program…
atleast, you’ll still be able to view blogspot and your rest assured that you are protected against such attacks! good day’

i’m not using IE anymore.. I’m using firefox. I know IE7 do have but KIS is more reliable than those built in anti-phishing security.
